Rising Stars
Non-Auditioning Vocal Performance Group
Music in Motion’s Rising Stars is a semester long after-school music program that introduces students to the joy of singing and choreography. During each course, students learn basic musical skills, stage etiquette, build self-esteem, and develop their ability to perform on stage.
Students are introduced to a variety of musical genre including pop, Broadway, classical, and world music.
There is a costumed stage performance at the end of each semester.
This is a very popular after-school program that fills quickly.
For children school ages 1st - 5th grade.
Vocal Tech
Non-Auditioning Vocal Performance Group
Vocal Tech is a long-term version of our Voice summer camp. Vocal Tech Select Choir is an opportunity for your student to improve their vocal and performance skills over the course of a school year. Intensive skill-enhancing sessions each week focusing on voice technique, music theory and vocabulary, ear training, and performance technique.
During the year the students will focus on refining solo selections, duets and choral work performing each week and receiving constructive feedback.
The students will have the opportunity, at the director’s discretion, to perform in public at our Spring Show, and participate in the Holiday Parade in downtown Morgan Hill.
Choose songs you want to work on
- Refine songs with a professional coach, Michelle Moyer
- Perform live in our Spring Show (at director’s discretion)
- One day a week for an hour and half

Show Stoppers
Auditioning Vocal Performance Group
Being a member in our Show Stoppers Choir is a school year commitment, 2 hours and 30 minutes a week, for those performers who want to advance their skill level in both singing and dancing. The students study and perform current songs with modern and classic choreography. Students perform at local community venues and events.
Auditions required for placement.
The Treble Tones
Auditioning Vocal Performance Group
The Treble Tones is a school year commitment, once a week for 2 hours and 30 minutes a week, for those performers who want to advance their skill level in both singing and dancing and have had vocal training and experience. These performers have had some previous training and will continue to work on vocal technique, performance etiquette, musicianship, and dance precision.
Auditions required for placement.
Encore!
Auditioning Vocal Performance Group
Encore! is a school year commitment, once a week for 2 hours and 30 minutes a week, for those performers who want to advance their skill level in both singing and dancing and have had vocal training and experience. These performers have had years of previous training and will continue to work on vocal technique, performance etiquette, musicianship, and dance precision.
Auditions required for placement.
Auditions
Please come prepared to sing with a selected song and a karaoke track. Each performer will learn a dance combination, so please wear shoes and clothes you can dance in for the audition. Students will be performing in shows during the year. Throughout the year the performers will be working on vocal technique, ear training, music theory, dancing, learning several genres of music and performance skills.
